Our Favorite Looks From Fashion Week - GQ

The digital runways are aflame, and these are the biggest fits the GQ staff has seen on them.

The GQ staff might not be at the fashion shows this season, the pandemic preventing us from swanning about Paris and Milan in what you can be certain would have been enormous fits. But! That won't stop us from following along at home, and rigorously cataloguing everything we're seeing. And, gosh, a lot of it has been really good. These are our favorite looks from fashion week so far.

Dior, Look #5. Kim Jones is an unparalleled fashion mind. He’s also an ultra-prescient collector of talent. Just look at the accessories here: the sick saddle bag comes with a gnarly buckle courtesy of Givenchy’s Matthew Williams, while Dior footwear designer Thibo Denis (a low-key legendary IG follow) is responsible for the next-level moon boots. —Sam Schube

Loewe, look #64. Now, this is fun! Where’s this guy going? I want to pack a tote bag for a picnic, fill a rolltop backpack for a camping trip with the boys, and wear all my clothes at once to make up for the past year. This is the most aspirational look from fashion week. —Cam Wolf

The Row, look #24. The Row is pushing its menswear ever closer to its womenswear, which means this season offered for men some of the incredible oversized tailoring and Hermes-Margiela vibes you’ve come to envy in the women’s collections. —R.T.

Dolce&Gabbana, look #74. Justin Bieber soundtracked the Dolce show earlier this week. So it was only right for the brand to show the kind of outfit—monochromatic, bold, and deeply cozy—that Bieber’s made mega-cool. —S.S.

Prada, look #10. Raf Simons’s first men’s collection with Miuccia Prada is so cool because it feels like a true collaboration: the oversized bomber silhouette is all Raf, and the nylon is signature Prada. Collector’s item alert! —S.H.

Grace Wales Bonner, look #15. Every look from Grace Wales Bonner’s show reinterpreting ivy style is in contention for favorite look. This one stands out because of the sharp way Wales Bonner plays with proportion: she’s able to use billowing pants and a cinched belt to essentially create an hourglass figure. —C.W.

Hermes, look #18. A croc zip-up hoodie! That’s iconic on its own, but then add this double-zip shirt and pants that zip at the ankle to open the leg, and you’ve single handedly made the zipper the most important tiny piece of metal in the 20th century! —R.T.
