Evann Newton paid a visit to Renue Salon, Spa & Fashion Boutique for a pedicure a while back and now she is a stylist at the downtown Great Bend business.
“I was drawn to the spa-like atmosphere when I was at Renue,” Newton said. “It is a great environment with an awesome team eager to serve their clients.”
Newton’s services include women’s and men’s haircuts, hair coloring, hair extensions and shellac manicures and pedicures.
She is a 2007 graduate of Great Bend High School; Newton earned her cosmetology credentials at Hays Academy of Hair Design.
“I have 13 years of cosmetology experience,” Newton commented. “For 10 of those years, I have served clients in the Great Bend area. I am excited to continue my career at Renue.”
Newton and her husband, Rusty, are expecting their fourth child in August. Her parents are Terry and MelEesa Stueder and grandparents are Terry and Jerry Esfeld.
Renue, 1419 Main, offers all hair-care treatments; face creams; lotions; facials; manicures and pedicures; nail polishes; body wraps; hot-stone and deep-tissue massages; two tanning beds; waxing; and infra-red sauna.
The fashion boutique provides clothing for women of all ages.
