In our modern fashion industry, gone are the days of seasonal drops. Designers are giving us something to look forward to all year long, with goodies landing in stores and online every week—from got-to-have-it handbags to wear-forever dresses. Here, we round up our favorite new items of the week to shop now before they’re inevitably gone.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art has partnered with Aurora James of Brother Vellies to create a capsule collection of everyday gear, from sweatshirts to woven baskets. The line, which is shoppable via The Met Store’s Instagram page, is the latest in a series of designer drops that have previously included Virgil Abloh.
Launching today is Rosario Dawson’s collaboration with Warby Parker. The Essex style of sunnies comes in two new shades (pink and deep green), plus a custom lens cloth featuring textile artwork originally designed and produced in Ghana for Dawson’s fashion line, Studio 189.
Brazilian brand, PatBO recently launched athletic apparel. The performance-based collection utilizes sustainable, recycled fabrics with moisture-wicking technology. The pieces are functional yet eye-catching in true Patbo form, featuring those strategic cutouts beloved in the brand’s ready-to-wear pieces. The range includes catsuits, biker shorts, track jackets, and high-waisted leggings in solid colorways and bright prints alike.
