“I’ve been in customer service for over 20 years, dealing with both domestic and international clients. When I retired, I decided that I needed something else to do, and I always had a passion for fashion and helping people,” Vendome said. “When I saw an ad for a position at Patchington, I thought it was a great way to fill some of my time. Patchington is a really nice store, and we’re all about fashion, friendship, and fun.”

Harvest Hues. Everyone needs clothes that match the changing foliage. Summer was all about bold colors and pretty pastels, and fall is looking just as bright.

“We are going to be showcasing some nice, rich earth tones and different saturated shades. It will be a lot of spicy pumpkin with highlights of sage and misty blues. We’ll have all of the trending fall colors,” Vendome said.

Animal Instincts. Go wild over animal prints that make a statement. Pair printed bottoms with a solid top or vice versa to create the perfect look.

“Leopard print is always included in our fall items, and we also will be featuring snakeskin. We have a little bit of everything to cater to every style,” Vendome said.

Soft Touch. Faux suede and versatile fabrics will be popping up everywhere.

“We carry leggings and tops that match and nice lounge wear with rich browns and blacks. The clothes that are coming in now are soft and have more life to them.”

Comfy Chic. Say hello to everyday closet staples. It’s time to put the sweatpants away and gravitate toward more-elevated casual wear.

“We’re starting to see the soft draping styles, like palazzo pants and flowing tunics. They’re great because it looks like you are getting a little dressed up, but they are still very comfortable to wear all day long for work or events.”
