The Primetime Emmys are one of the biggest nights in television and always bring out A+ fashion. So who dressed the best and whose looks fell flat? Wonderwall.com is rounding up the fashion hits and misses of the night! First up? One of our least favorite looks of the evening courtesy of Gillian Anderson. The star of "The Crown" (and winner of the best supporting actress in a drama prize) rocked these strange custom Chloe coordinates. Comprised of ivory-hued silk, the cropped top featured lengthy tassels that flowed over the matching floor-length skirt, which also included a fringed hemline to go with the bohemian aesthetic. We typically adore Angela Bassett's bold fashion choices, but this one missed the mark. Her black-and-pink Greta Constantine design involved a cool color combo, but that over-the-top pink ruffle was just too overwhelming to focus on much else.

Daniel Levy always keeps us guessing on the red carpet, so we weren't surprised to see him in this unique Valentino number. The "Schitt's Creek" star's look included a wrap blazer with a tie at the waist, pants and a dress shirt all in a bold blue shade. He kept things simple with accessories, selecting chunky black boots and his signature black-rimmed glasses to complete his ensemble.

Nope! Madeline Brewer's brown Tom Ford gown was already underwhelming, but when paired with electric blue heels, this look totally lost us.

Yara Shahidi looked gorgeous in green on the Emmys red carpet! The star's stunning tea-length Dior dress included an off-the-shoulder detail and a full skirt that showed off her brown Christian Louboutin pointy-toe pumps perfectly. And when it came to add jewelry, Yara spared no expense…

Olivia Colman underwhelmed in this orange-and-black Roksanda frock. The silhouette included short sleeves and a cape-like detail we liked, but that midi-length skirt is where this one went wrong in our opinion.

Looking dapper, Kenan Thompson! The "Saturday Night Live" star arrived in one of the prettiest tuxedos of the night — this sharp pink number. He added even more pink to the mix with his darling bow tie, which matched the lapels of his tux perfectly, then finished things off with black dress shoes.

Missing Coachella? Aidy Bryant arrived in an outfit and flower crown fit for a music festival! The star's olive green Simone Rocha gown was lovely — check out the floral embellishments! — but the length and accessories made it feel a little too casual for Emmys night.

Jennifer Coolidge kept things sleek and sophisticated in navy blue! The star's Christian Siriano gown included a chic cape detail and a fitted silhouette for maximum Emmys night glamour.

Another star whose ensemble felt a little too casual? Kathryn Hahn. The strapless black Lanvin design included an oversized belt detail and skinny ankle-length pants, all of which underwhelmed on such a big night.

The men really stepped it up at the Primetime Emmys this year! Best actor in a drama winner Josh O'Connor arrived in this sharp-looking custom tux by Loewe. And when it came time to add a tie, the star of "The Crown" opted for an unconventional choice…

We loved Josh O'Connor's unique accessory choice! He added a fabric flower-embellished bolo-style tie to his custom Loewe suit for an unexpected addition that stood out on the red carpet.

We weren't wild about Beanie Feldstein's shimmery Brandon Maxwell dress. Though the salmon shade was pretty, the short sleeves, belt detail and midi-length made this frock feel too casual for such a big night. Despite not liking her outfit choice, we did appreciate those metallic peep-toe Christian Louboutins.

Winner Jean Smart kept things elegant in Ralph Lauren on Emmy night. The star's black frock included a high neck, long sheer sleeves and a floor-length silhouette, all amounting to an understated yet classically glamorous fashion moment.

The typically stylish Tracee Ellis Ross selected this red Valentino design on Emmys night. Though the shade was pretty — and very popular! — the one-shouldered and otherwise simple silhouette was surprisingly subdued coming from the fashionista. Though her red gown wasn't out of this world, her jewelry was pretty fabulous. Get a better view next…

Emerald Fennell's whimsical style always makes for fun red carpet moments, and her Emmys pick was no different! The star's fun Valentino gown included sparkly embellishments, a tinge of neon and plenty of hearts that we adored.

Snore! Rita Wilson didn't dress to impress at the Emmys. The star showed up in this dull Tom Ford getup — a blazer, a sequined top and trousers — and seriously underwhelmed.

Cecily Strong made a serious fashion statement in a black dress by Azzaro that was anything but boring. Her long-sleeved sleek frock included a plunging neckline, a thigh-high slit and a subtle train that all added up to the perfect amount of drama. She accessorized with a ring by Zarianas and drop diamond earrings by Gismondi1754 to complete her pretty Emmys getup.

Beth Behrs arrived in this shimmering gown fit for a princess. The Georges Hobeika dress included sparkly embellishments in an asymmetrical pattern across the neckline, a thigh-high slit and a full skirt with an over-the-top train.

As always, Billy Porter served up a look that was anything but boring on the red carpet. We weren't wild about his black Ashi Studio ensemble — which included over-the-top structured wings — but we did appreciate the jewels he added to his crazy getup…

Pretty in purple! Nicole Byer wowed in this phenomenal purple ballgown. The unexpected off-the-shoulder neckline, ruffled tulle border and stunning full skirt all helped cement this look as a dreamy hit.

Karamo Brown kept things super classic in this stunning velvet tuxedo. He paired the ensemble with a bow tie and heeled dress shoes for a perfect Emmys look.
